Safety Precautions

Compatibility

Confirm that the Fixtec Battery Charger 9A/7A  is compatible with the type of battery you intend to charge. This charger should be suitable for various 12V lead-acid batteries.

Power Supply

Ensure that the charger is connected to a power source. Plug it into a standard electrical outlet that provides the appropriate voltage and frequency (usually 110-120V or 220-240V, depending on your region).

Connection

Connect the battery to the charger. Ensure that the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals on the charger are connected to the corresponding terminals on the battery.

Charging Rate Selection

The charger is dual-rated at 9A and 7A, which means you can select the charging rate as needed based on your battery’s specifications. Some chargers allow you to switch between these rates using a selector switch or button.

Turn on the charger if it has a power switch. The charger will begin supplying current to the battery. The LED indicators or display on the charger may show the charging progress.

Monitoring

Completion

When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery and then unplug the charger from the power source.
